The East Village was a haven for hippies in the 60’s and 70’s. Flash back with me to my store, the Psychedelicatessen. From one Hoffmann in Switzerland to another who went to Chicago, from Owsley in my face to outer space acid, from the Be-In in Central Park to Janis Joplin in Tompkins Square park, my memory is good of those good old days.
